BioWare celebrates N7 Day with a 'ten years of Mass Effect' video

November 7 is N7 Day, a day to celebrate Mass Effect - and this month also happens to be the game's ten year anniversary.

Of course, there are no Mass Effect games in open development right now, and Andromeda is all wrapped up, but Mass Effect is an extremely important series to many people and this video reflects that.

There's nothing in the way of revelations here, really, but it's a very nice collection of talking heads discussing the game's impact, with several members of BioWare and a few fans chiming in to talk about what Mass Effect has meant to people.

It's enough to make you really miss Shepard and crew, isn't it? It's also a good reminder of how ambitious the original trilogy was, with its 'choices carry over' structure.

Mass Effect Andromeda was recently put onto EA and Origin Access, and although the game was not received as well as previous entries in the series, this video makes it sound like we'll be seeing more Mass Effect down the track. "The future of Mass Effect...is very bright", we're told in this video.

So while this N7 Day might be a bit muted, it's still nice to reflect on how important Mass Effect has been to many people.
