BioWare Austin VP heads to Playdom, Disney dev heads to LucasArts

In what appears to be a revolving door situation at Disney, the company has seen game design director Frederic Markus jump ship to LucasArts.

It follows a recent restructuring at DIS.

Markus's new post at Lucas is studio creative director. His appointment comes less than a year after the appointment of new president Paul Meegan, the resignation of Force Unleashed boss Hayden Blackman and a round of layoffs.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, though, Disney has seen the addition of Gordon Walton to its social game company Playdom. Walton, previously VP and co-GM of Old Republic developer BioWare Austin, joins as an executive producer.

There's more on both appointments over at IG and Gama.
