Beyond: Yoshida "reassured" and "excited" for next Quantic Dream game

Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida doesn't seem super impressed with Beyond: Two Souls' divisive reception, but has high hopes for David Cage's next game.

In a quite enigmatic tweet, Yoshida said he visited Cage at Quantic Dream's headquarters in Paris.

"So I visited David at QD's office in Paris, shared my honest feedback with Beyond," he said.

"Reassured how much I'm excited with his next project."

While we can't know precisely what is indicated by Yoshida's "honest feedback", Beyond: Two Souls reviews have so far demonstrated a mixed reception for PlayStation 3 exclusive, which is not at all what Sony is used to with first-party published games.

Quantic Dream is known to be working on a new project for PS4, but hasn't revealed any details as yet. It might be called Singularity, and has been in the works since mid-2012. The developer has already shown off what it can do with the hardware with a short film, The Dark Sorcerer.
