Bethesda celebrates Quake's 15th birthday

Sonic's not the only one celebrating a birthday.

id Software's Quake has turned 15, having first launched back in 1996. It was the developer's last newly introduced IP until RAGE releases later this year.

To celebrate, Bethesda Blog's gone live with remarks from id co-founder John Carmack and president Todd Hollenshead, as well as a video of a young Carmack providing a short Q&A at Quakeworld 1996.

Quakeaddicted's also gone up with an interview with ex-id veteran and Spicy Horse co-founder American McGee.

Quake 5 will be along before you know it.
