Bethesda announces date for its E3 showcase

It's just under half a year away, but it's never too early to get hyped.

Bethesda's event will take place on June 12 2016. The bad news is that it's the same day as EA's press conference.

EA has opted for public events this year in a bid to "connect directly with our players and create a meaningful experience for them." The events are taking place between June 12-14, while their press conference will be held on Sunday June 12 at 1pm PT/5pm ET/9pm GMT, rather than the first Monday of E3, as is the usual tradition.

Bethesda's conference also falls on Sunday June 12, but it'll kick off at 7pm PT/ 11pm ET/ 3am GMT, so you'll need a big old pitcher of coffee if you want to watch the show live.

E3 2016 is scheduled for June 14-16, and will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
