We're at E3 this week, covering the year's biggest gaming event. Be sure to check out all our coverage on our E3 2016 hub!

E3 es mort! Viva le E3!

Yes, another Electronic Entertainment Expo has come to an end, and it was an impressive show indeed: A great mid-generational exhibition packed with games by developers who have really started to feel comfortable with and squeeze impressive results from the current consoles. Granted, one of the themes of this year's show was that Sony and Microsoft are in the midst of changing what the term "generation" even means, but for now we enjoyed basking in an excellent and promising lineup of games that'll be launching over the coming year.

Of the hundreds of games shown this year at E3, a handful truly caught our attention, and we've nominated about two dozen games for standing out above the rest. These weren't the only games we played and enjoyed this year — just the ones that truly shone. We'll reveal our final rankings, including best of show, but first we want to take your nominees for the community's Best of E3 pick! You can vote in the comments below — be sure to check out our guidelines before voting.

As for our nominees, we have nominees in three different groupings: Team nominees, which everyone collectively agreed were the best games on the floor this year; personal picks, wherein each USgamer team member got to throw in one game that didn't make the team nominees cut; and a single non-playable nominee for games that were hands-off to attendees. So without further ado, our nominees for best of E3:
