- Prime Day PlayStation Deals
- Prime Day Xbox Deals
- Prime Day PC and Laptop Deals
- Prime Day TV Deals
- Prime Day Amazon Device Deals.
Prime Day Nintendo Switch Deals
A fairly lackluster year for Nintendo Switch console bundles, but it's expected given we didn't get the Nintendo Switch Pro news we were hoping for during Nintendo's E3 Direct.
The best Prime Day console deals this year were exclusive to the UK, one of the best being a Neon Red/Neon Blue bundle with Mario Kart 8 for £289. You could also grab a Ring Fit Adventure bundle for £314 or Pokemon Snap bundle for £310.
While the deals on console bundles have now expired, you can still pick up some of the Nintendo Switch's best-selling titles at their Prime Day prices below. SanDisk microSDXC memory cards, widely regarded as the best memory cards for Nintendo Switch, are still discounted too, though they're slightly more expensive than their Prime Day prices.
US deals:
- Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing New Horizons Edition for $299.99
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $49.94
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $47.88
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses for $39.88
- 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC Memory Card for $18.51
- 1TBGB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC Memory Card for $159
UK deals:
- Persona 5 Strikers for £39.99
- The Witcher 3 Complete Edition Switch for £42.95
- 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC Memory Card for £26.95
Prime Day PlayStation Deals
Given that PlayStation 5 stock is still practically non-existent, we went into this year's Prime Day knowing there wouldn't be any discounts on PS5 consoles for Prime Day 2021. Stock popped up at various retailers in the UK and US, but as always, it wasn't around for long.
Stock issues aside, there were some great deals on PS5 games and accessories for those of you that are lucky enough to already own a PS5, as well as some deep discounts on PS4 games. Returnal was another highlight at $49, although that deal has now expired, as has Final Fantasy VII Remake for $30 (PS4).
The UK had some great PS5 DualSense controller bundles. You can could a controller with Sackboy: A Big Adventure or Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for £79.
US deals:
- Marvel's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest (Collector's) Edition for $98
- Demon's Souls (PS5) for $49.44
- Nier Automata Game of the Yorha Edition for $25.51
- GTA V Premium Edition for $14.99
- Outriders Day One Edition (PS5) for $44.99
UK deals:
Prime Day Xbox Deals
Like the PS5, we didn't get any major deals on Xbox Series X or S consoles. While Microsoft's stock situation seems better for the new generation of consoles, there wasn't much incentive to actually discount them.
That said, an early morning stock update for the Xbox Series X on 22 June surprised us as it was live for around 40 minutes – probably the longest period yet. We hope some of you managed to grab one.
While there were some great deals on third-party Xbox titles, we were left a little underwhelmed with the Xbox offerings in this year's Prime Day sale. Fingers crossed we'll get a lot better in this year's Black Friday sale.
We've left a list of the Prime Day deals that are still live below.
US deals
- FIFA 21 Digital Edition for $19.79
- Marvel's Avengers for $24.99
- Biomutant for $49.94
- Watch Dogs Day One Edition for $16.99
- Assassin's Creed Origins (Gold Edition) Digital Download for $19.99
- Carbon Black Xbox Wireless Controller for $49.99
UK deals:
Prime Day PC and Laptop Deals
Prime Day 2021 was great for various PC parts and peripherals, with some impressive discounts on keyboards, gaming mice, monitors, SSDs... you name it, it was probably included!
Samsung's Odyssey gaming monitors were discounted across the board. The 32" G5 monitor was $249 while the G7 monitor in the same size was $559.
Crucial MX500 2TB SATA SSDs are now sold out, and we're not surprised given they were $170 in this year's sale. The X6 4TB portable SSD was heavily discounted to $289 too, but is now over $400.
There were some fantastic deals on all of the best-selling Logitech and Razer gaming mice and keyboards too. The Basilisk Ultimate gaming mouse for $75 was one of the best deals, while the BlackWidow V3 Pro gaming keyboard was $180.
Prime Day TV Deals
There were some impressive discounts on Toshiba TVs, with the 50" C530 reduced to $359, or $259 for the 43" version. One of the best deals in the US was argubably the LG 55" OLED C1, which is still available for $1496.99
The UK definitely fared better in terms of deals though, other than the discounts on Insignia TVs which were also available in the US, you could grab the Sony Bravia 65" A8 model for £1799. The Panasonic 65" TX 700B was reduced in price to £639 too, while the LG Nano86 had various sizes all heavily discounted.
Prime Day Amazon Device Deals
Amazon Prime Day always delivers on Amazon-branded discounts in this year was no different. We got some great deals in the run-up to Prime Day in the form of Early Prime Day deals, which included deep discounts on Ring video doorbells and home security kits.
Everything else was pretty much half price, or near enough to. That meant you could grab a Fire TV 4K stick for $25, an all-new echo Dot (4th gen) for $25, a Fire HD 8 tablet for $45 or the 10 tablet for $80.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is actually a two-day event, where Amazon discounts 1,000s of items. Between Lightning Deals, Daily Deals, and flat discounts, there are more than enough items for anyone to spend money on.
Is Amazon Prime Day only for Prime members?
Yes, Prime Day is only available to Amazon Prime members, although a lot of competing retailers will make it a selling point that they don't require a membership to participate.
But, if you haven't signed up for Prime before, you can head to the Prime landing page in the US or UK to sign up for a free 30-day trial. Then, you can take advantage of all of the available deals.
What stores are holding Prime Day-style sales?
Most retailers know that launching competing sales during Prime Day is a good idea. If people don't have Prime, or if they have a better price on an item people want, that's money in their pockets, after all.
Best Buy, Walmart, and Target normally have their own sales on Prime Day in the US, and Tseo, Currys PC World, and Smyths hold sales in the UK.
Is Amazon Prime Day free?
Since Prime Day does require a subscription to Amazon Prime, it's not precisely free. However, if you're already a Prime member, there are no additional costs to incur.
