Why Hideki Kamiya feels the Bayonetta 2 box art is "sh*t"

Bayonetta 2 creator Hideki Kamiya really doesn't like the game's Wii U box art, following its reveal during Nintendo's E3 2014 stream last night.

It follows the reveal of Platinum's new Bayonetta 2 trailer and confirmation that it includes a remaster of the first game along with bonus Samus, Link and Peach outfits. Just look at them.

Now, Hideki Kamiya has blasted the game's box art, which went from this:

As spotted by Kotaku, Kamiya's English account tweeted,"I hate the logo of WiiU ver. Junk."

His Japanese tweet was less kind however. The site translated it as saying, "The Bayo 2 package is s**t. Who's the damned bastard who changed it..."

When asked if Nintendo had asked before changing the art, Kamiya replied, No. "They did it without any permission."

Asked what he didn't like about the new art, he explained, "They removed the crescent behind Bayo & put full moon & changed the color of '2' in red. JUNK."
