Battlefield Hardline may end up using the same resolution settings as Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Battlefield Hardline will render at the same resolution used for Battlefield 4, according to EA.

The firm told GamesOnNet in a statement that it's targeting 60fps, using the same reoslution settings as Battlefield 4.

The resolution settings for Battlefield 4 were 900p on PlayStation 4 and 720p on Xbox One. Those settings are also what's on display in the current beta, according to Digital Foundry.

Back in June of last year, around the time of the first beta, Visceral said that it's aiming for 1080p/ 60 for both consoles. Which would certainly come as a disappointment to some fans, especially since Hardline is not boasting a visual upgrade over Battlefield 4.
