Battlefield Hardline is probably getting a Premium service

There's probably going to be a Premium service for Battlefield Hardline, according to some in-game items.

EA has not announced a Premium service for Battlefield Hardline yet, but we're inclined to believe there is going to be one based on some item descriptions found in the current beta for the game.

Premium is a service that was introduced with Battlefield 3 and is basically a season pass that gives you access to all future DLC releases at a discount if you pay upfront. Other bonuses such as XP boosts and cosmetic items were also part of the previous Premium services.

Hardline allows players to wear cosmetic patches on their shoulders. The beta even includes a few of those that are listed for Premium only.

The description of the Shark Patch reads, "Premium subscribers will find these Patches in Silver and Gold Battlepacks."
