Battlefield 5 minimum PC specs posted in error on Origin, says DICE

Seems the minimum PC specs listed for Battlefield 5 were nothing more than a placeholder.

DICE has pulled the minimum PC specs for Battlefield 5 off of Origin.

The specs were posted in error, according to community manager Dan Mitre.

Recently, incorrect minimum PC specs for #Battlefield V were published as placeholders. We haven’t announced our minimum or recommended specs for Battlefield V yet. Stay tuned!

Many folks online were scratching their heads a bit over the list, as the specs were identical to those of Battlefield 1.

Now we know why.

EA Play 2018 kicks things off at E3 2018 this Saturday where we'll find out more on the game.

Battlefield 5 is out October 19 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
