You can now play Battlefield 4 free on Origin for an entire week

As if last week's sale on Xbox Live and the one currently on PlayStation Network weren't enough to get you to play Battlefield 4, EA has an even sweeter offer on the table, sure to satisfy your need for shooter sugar.

EA has added Battlefield 4 to its Game Time program on Origin, which allows "new recruits" to the game the ability to download it to their Origin Game Library.

Once this is done, they will get one full week (168 hours) of playtime. All Origin users have until August 14 to add Battlefield 4 Game Time to their Origin Game Library.

The incentive will be "rolling out across the world" over the next few hours. The free game time includes the single-player campaign, multiplayer and 64-player.

One thing: your game time clock "runs in real-time, whether you're in the fight or taking a break," however any Origin Achievements gained will be saved if you want to buy the game after the trail is over.
