Battlefield 3's 'hardest' easter egg has been uncovered by a YouTuber after it was teased by former-DICE voice-over designer Thomas Danko.

The secret was uncovered by YouTuber JackFrags and the story of how it was discovered is actually quite incredible, involving months of detective work.

It also concerns former DICE employee and Payday 2 developer David Goldfarb. We won't say any more on it, just watch the clip below.
