Battlefield 2 mod Project Reality adds the Falklands War
One of the most prominent Battlefield 2 mods has recently received a big update.
If you played Battlefield 2 in its heyday, you'll no doubt be familiar with the Project Reality mod. Well, the mod is still in constant development, and has received a new update recently.
Update 1.4 brings, among other things, the 1982 Falklands War. This means both the British as well as the Argentine factions are playable, complete with their weapons, kits, equipment, and accurate vehicles of all roles.
The action takes place on two maps, Goose Green, and the big The Falklands. The update is massive, and includes further additions to other factions in the game, as well as massive changes to the in-game flight model, and the game's programming code in order to get rid of bugs and increase performance.
