Batman: Arkham Knight dev aiming for graphical parity on all platforms

Batman: Arkham Knight probably won't spark any of those exciting and fascinating arguments about which console has the biggest numbers.

Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady Studios wants all three versions to perform similarly.

"We're about six months away from going gold. So we don't know what the resolution and the frame rate's going to be yet. That's something that happens during the optimization phase of the game," the developer said in a livestream transcribed by Gamespot.

"We're aiming for parity across all platforms. Whatever it is, it's going to be awesome."

Before the PC fans throw a fit, aiming for parity doesn't necessarily mean Rocksteady won't let you crank it up further if you have a tremendous rig.

Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in June 2015, having been delayed from a planned release in October this year to coincide with Batman's 75th anniversary.
