Batman: Arkham City to be compatible with 3D TVs and PCs

Warner Bros. has announced Batman: Arkham City will be playable in both stereoscopic and anaglyphic 3D for all formats.

PS3 and Xbox 360 users will be able to play the game in stereoscopic 3D via any 3D HDTV while wearing those lovely shutter glasses.

PC users who have NVIDIA 3D Vision running inside their towers or notebooks.

Also, those with HDTVs can play it in anaglyphic 3D with “technology compatible with all high definition TV sets and visible to players wearing 3D glasses available for the video game.”

So, seeing Batman’s fist hit Mr. Freeze in the face will be more cool than before, we reckon.

Batman: Arkham City is scheduled for release beginning October 18 in North America, October 19 in Australia and October 21 in Europe and other global territories.
