Awesome, free Sega Mega Drive Classics Hub coming to Steam next week

The Mega Drive Classics Hub is a 3D environment designed to invoke the bedroom of a 90's gamer, complete with posters, real time day and night effects, a CRT TV and a shelf of games.

Players can browse their collection and a catalogue of supported titles from the shelves before settling down in front of the console to play, at which point the view zooms in for a normal emulation experience. Take a look below:

If you own any supported Mega Drive Classics on Steam, the hub will be yours, for free, from April 28. Additionally, Sega is adding Steam Workshop support for every title in the hub.

Pretty rad, Sega. You can see a full list of supported titles on the Sega blog.
