Kotaku has obtained a video demonstrating how Avatar Kinect models the user's face in order to create an expressive, speaking animation.

Check it out through the break.

The brief tech demo shows Kinect's generated 3D mesh tracking the mysterious Ron's movements and expressions and applying them to his Xbox Avatar - apparently in real time.
