Australia: Last chance entry to 3DS Ambassador Program

If you purchased a 3DS before the cut-off date but failed to register for the Ambassador Program and attendant free games, Nintendo of Australia is offering one last chance.

Kotaku asked Nintendo Australia for clarification on how to get your name on the registry, and was told those who have their receipts can post them directly to the platform holder.

Unfortunately, a credit card statement or similar won't be accepted. You need the original receipt, and as Nintendo won't return them, you should take a photocopy for warranty purposes.

You'll also need to supply your name and email address, as well as your 3DS's serial number.

The cut off date is Septmber 30. Send your information to:

  • Attention: Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program
    804 Stud Road
    Scoresby
    VIC, 3179

Those who accessed the eShop before the cut-off date of April 11 are automatically registered for the program, which rewards early adopters with more than 20 free downloadable games, some of which will not be emade available elsewhere.

Thanks, GoNintendo.
