Assassin's Creed: Unity has one of the strangest pre-order bonuses we've seen

Pre-order Assassin's Creed: Unity not just for extra stuff, but for the chance to score extra stuff.

Assassin's Creed: Unity pre-orders in North America entitle the bearer to five spins per week on a virtual slot machine called the Guillotine Prize Drop, according to the video above. The wheel offers prizes such as in-game content and merchandise, but ranging all the way up to an all-expenses trip to Paris.

All pre-orders also include a single-player mission called Chemical Revolution add-on mission. As is currently de rigeur, especially at Ubisoft, various retailers will be offering specific additional pre-order bonuses. Accoding to Polygon, Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop and Walmart each offer a different weapon, and you should ask your favourite games store what they have on offer.

Assassin's Creed: Unity is expected on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in October.
