Make your way up the Eiffel Tower, destroying the planes to reach the portal.

There are no optional challenges in this time-travelling adventure, so just enjoy yourself.

Find the Sewer Exit
This time you start underground and have to make your way out, so just move forward and climb the ladder to proceed.

Reach the Eiffel Tower
That is the biggest version of the Eiffel Tower I have ever seen in a video game - if only Nazis weren't intent on preventing you from reaching it. To get there safely, avoid the spotlights - the easiest way is to make a wide circle around to the left, climbing over the tank, though a hole in a fence and heading up a wall.

Climb the Eiffel Tower
Your climb requires patience; watch the spotlights closely and time your movements to avoid them. Don't be afraid to free-run-down if you need to get away, and tap the jump button as you go up to speed your progress with leaps. When you've climbed high enough, you'll reach a platform and see a short cutscene.

Reach the First Platform
Cross the beam and jump to the next platform, then head left and across another platform. Your next goal is the nearby wire-clad wall, so just jump to grab and then climb on up repeating the whole spotlight evasion procedure.

Climb to the Top of the Eiffel Tower
Once you've proceeded a little further you'll need to climb up and over the restaurant, then hang a left to climb what seems to be an elevator shaft. There are intermittent patches of electricity but they're easy to dodge and don't move about like the searchlights; if one triggers near you just hoof it out of there.

At the top, move forward around the platform and take cover from the plane's guns, then continue on around the walkway until you reach a turret. Use the gun to take down the plane; pull the stealth trigger to take cover when it attacks, but plug away when ever you're not under fire. If this bores you, you can just keep running past the gun and skip[ it, with no ill consequences.

Once the plane is down, continue climbing upwards until you run out of platforms and need to jump to a blimp. There'll be a cutscene, and then you can use a rope to get back on solid ground - or solid tower, anyway. Take the lift shaft up, and start climbing again. This is the last section of climbing through spotlights, thankfully.

Destroy the Planes
Use the machine guns to take down two planes; it's harder than the first gunning section, but not by much. Remember you can still use medicine if you've taken a bit of a beating. You'll need to bring them both down.

Escape Through the Portal
Now that you're safe, there's just one last section of climbing. Continue upwards, and wait for your cue to leap into the portal.
