You can now play Assassin's Creed Pirates for free in your browser

Assassin's Creed Pirates has received a free browser version courtesy of Ubisoft. It's not the full iOS and Android game of course, but it does show what can be done in browsers.

It follows Matt's blog on why Assassin's Creed Unity will be the first big new-gen game to make us all sit up and realise how powerful all this new tech is. Agree or disagree, throw your hat in the ring through the link.

You can play Assassin's Creed Pirates for browsers through the link.

CVG reports that it was crafted in Bablyon.js, an open source tool that enables game creators to make projects in WebGL and HTML5.

The browser build is focused on racing ships around the ocean, without the other mechanics seen in the mobile version, but still, what do you think?
