Assassin's Creed Odyssey new game plus coming this month

Ubisoft has revealed that the long-awaited new game plus mode for Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be available in February.

The publisher announced this in a tweet this week.

Though specific details about Assassin's Creed Odyssey's particular NG+ mode have yet to be confirmed, Ubisoft confirmed to one player that more information will be revealed in the monthly update video, which is going live next week.

If NG+ in Origins is any indication, expect to keep your character level and unlocks as you start fresh in a new campaign. Enemy scaling will of course be adjusted to balance things out, but you'll have the massive world of Odyssey to rediscover with an end-game character.

Given how Odyssey allows players to pick their character gender, it'll be interesting to see whether we can start the new game with the other option, just to make the second run a little more interesting.

New game plus was announced for Odyssey prior to the game's launch, but Ubisoft hasn't really mentioned it since. Hopefully next week's video will bring the goods.
