Assassin's Creed movie delayed until 2016

It turns out movies get delayed just as often as video games.

The forthcoming movie based on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series has been delayed a year into 2016, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Originally set for an August 7, 2015 release, the movie has suffered multiple script rewrites and "scheduling issues" says the report.

Set to star Michael Fassbender and possibly Robert Downey Jr, it was originally confirmed way back in 2012.
