Assassin's Creed movie coming August 2015

Distributor Fox has announced the Assassin's Creed movie has been pushed back from June 9, 2015 to August 7, 2015, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is being developed by Ubisoft and New Regency, and looks set to star Michael Fassbender. We had expected it as early as this year, but it went through a rewrite; Ubisoft is quite protective of this one.
