Assassin's Creed III will feature "new setting, new hero"

assassinscreed5

Bye bye, Ezio. Brotherhood will be the end of his story, with Assassin's Creed III starting all over again.

"Assassin's Creed 3: new setting, new hero. That's the way it works," associate producer Jean-Francois Boivin told Gamerzines when asked if we'd see a new location and main character in the next numbered title in the series.

"We know what we're doing; we've had a plan for a long time where this license is going to go."

Assassin's Creed III won't appear in retail until 2012 at the latest, as the series is taking a year off after the release of Brotherhood this November.
