Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood beta kicks off on October 4, PC version delayed into 2011
Ubisoft's announced that the multiplayer beta of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood launches on October 4, while also confirming a delay for the PC version.
Multiplayer beta gets stabby next month
Ubi said today that anyone who has pre-ordered the standard edition, as well as the Auditore or Codex editions of the game, will get access to the taster, which is exclusive to PlayStation 3.
The beta will include nine different characters across two maps: Rome and Castel Gandolfo.
Eight players can simultaneously play two modes being included: Alliance, which sees players join up in teams of two to "fulfill contracts and confuse enemies in tandem", and Wanted, the latter of which Steph played at PAX last weekend.

PC version gets knifed into 2011
Ubisoft also confirmed today it has delayed the PC version of the game into Q1 2011.
It was previously due day and date with the console versions.
No reason was given by Ubi, but we'll ask them about it now.
The PS3 and 360 versions are unaffected by this delay, and will still release, as planned, on November 19.
