Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag live-action trailer preaches defiance, new screens released

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is edging closer, and now Ubisoft as released a new live action trailer for the flagship game. It shows many pirates doing piratical things.

It's a surprisingly dark trailer, showing a pirate raid on another ship that results in severed limbs, flaming bodies, and last resorts. Maybe this hints at the tone of the game. Or maybe it just makes for good drama.

There's also a new set of screenshots below, showing off the PS4 version.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag hits PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on October 29 in North America and November 1 across Europe. It’ll come to PS4 as a launch title and Xbox One later on.
