Ark: Survival Evolved update gives beasts a visual overhaul alongside quality of life improvements

Some of the creatures in Ark: Survival Evolved have been given a makeover.

Ark: Survival Evolved players can now download TLC Phase 1, also known as update v278, which not only comes with some visual additions, but various fixes have been applied.

The update also included a Valentine's special, which is about to come to a close so hurry up and log in for the Mate Boosted event. It increases the mate boosted range, reduces baby food consumption, and rowdies up mating, mating recovery, egg incubation, and creature maturing speeds. Get out there and start breeding.

Additionally, tames have a 5% chance to drop a Chocolate Cake when they mate. A Chocolate Cake can be used for a Full Heal or to advance 50% of a creature’s taming affinity bar. Specially-colored Red, Pink, and White wild creatures can be found wandering the world. The event ends tomorrow.
