Seven new creatures have been added to Ark: Survival Evolved

Seven new creatures have been announced for Ark: Survival Evolved and they range from more dinosaurs to a cute penguin and a giant elk.

The Megaloceros was know as the Irish Elk or Giant Elk, and there's the Therizinosaur which the developer took "creative license" with due to lack of a full skeleton being found by paleontologists.

Eurypterids are also new to the game, and they look a bit like scorpions. They lived on both the land and in the sea. The herbivore Pachycephalosaurus is also new, and is described as easy to tame and it can be used to charge at opponents.

One of the scariest looking creatures is the Arthropleura which is a giant millipede and while an herbivore, in the game it is an "aggressive acidic blood-spitting arthropod".

A cute creature which was added is the Kairuku which is a penguin which can "keep you warm" at night, and the final creature is the combative aquatic carnivore, the Manta.

Ark: Survival Evolved is still in the Early Access stage and without a release date. It will run you $29.99 through Steam.

Thanks, PCgamesN.
