ARK: Survival Evolved will arrive on Xbox One as part of the Xbox Game Preview next week.

ARK: Survival Evolved developer Studio Wildcard has revealed the release date of the dinosaur-hunting survival game on Xbox One. On December 16, the game will be made available on the Xbox Game Preview, priced $35.

Wildcard told IGN that while the Xbox One version will have the seam features of the PC one, don't expect the former to be updated as frequently as the latter. Wildcard promised, however, to release updates no further than two weeks apart, to try and keep parity across all versions as much as possible.

The final release of the game will cost more than $35, but those who get in now won't have to pay any extra. To incentivise early adoption, all Game Preview purchases will get a skin pack with an unlockable bionic T-Rex skin, ARK Founder's Hat skin, and ARK Founder's Trophy.

The final versions on PC and consoles are due June 2016.
