Ark: Survival Evolved is coming to mobile

Ark: Survival Evolved - the massive, dinosaur-taming survival game that’s already out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One - is coming to mobile.

The mobile edition of Ark, unlike its $60 cousin, will be free-to-play, supplemented by microtransactions. You know, like most mobile games.

Developer Studio Wildcard is working with War Drum Studios, the developer behind Rockstar's Bully, GTA: Chinatown Wars, and GTA: San Andreas mobile, to make this new edition happen.

Apparently it will be the full experience - all the tree-punching, dinosaur-twatting, and shitting you could ask for. The mobile port will feature online play, 80 dinosaurs, crafting, levelling, and building across a massive island map. It'll even support a total of 50 players sharing the same map.

There is a closed beta available now on iOS, but it’s very limited. The full game is launching on both Android and iOS sometime this spring.

If you’re heading into the game for the first time on mobile, check out our guide to taming dinosaurs in Ark. If you want to know how to gather resources and harvest materials in Ark, there’s another handy guide.

I feels like everything is going to mobile latey. Fornite is already making waves on mobile, while we heard about a possible mobile edition of PUBG coming to the west earlier.
