AR companion app released for RE: Operation Raccoon City

Capcom has released its companion app for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which is an augmented reality game allowing you to shoot zombies in real-world setting such as the DMV, while using public transportation systems, and even while being bored to death in the conference room.

The game features augmented reality zombies accessible by gamers with a specially built mobile app on iPhone and Android which you can grab via the Resident Evil microsite and Capcom’s Facebook page.

And, it's free.

A number of lucky gamers will be selected to take part in missions across Bristol, Manchester and London if they have a high enough score.

RE: Operation Raccoon City is out today in the US on PS3 and Xbox 360. It releases on PC in May.
