Apple's iPhone 5S and 5C sell over 9 million units

Apple's latest double-iteration to the iPhone line-up, the iPhone 5S and 5C, have together surpassed 9 million units sold over the weekend.

This is a new record, according to Apple's Tim Cook, who said in a statement, "This is our best iPhone launch yet, more than nine million new iPhones sold is a new record for first weekend sales."

The firm had also released iOS 7 together with the new handsets, and announced that there are more than 200 million devices running the update now. Making it the fastest software update in history, according to Apple.

You can catch up on all the iPhone 5 related details from here, though the most important news to gamers is the release of Infinity Blade 3, which came out over the weekend and reviewed really well.
