Apex Legends: unreleased Bloodhound skin may have leaked thanks to an in-game glitch

Apex Legends players are reporting sightings of a white Bloodhound skin and alternate skins for other characters.

A couple of posts have popped up over on Reddit with Apex Legends players claiming to have seen unreleased character skins. Redditor u/spicyboooi posted a picture of Bloodhound wearing a white, winter-themed skin, saying that their friend glitched, and the whole team saw the skin.

In the same thread, other commentors chimed in saying that they had seen Caustic and Gibraltar wearing similar skins for a moment in the lobby, while there were more reports of in-game white Bloodhound sightings.

A second Reddit thread also shared a screenshot of the same Bloodhound skin, captured by u/Seasonics.

Again, a number of other commentors corroborated seeing the same thing, as well as having similar experiences with Mirage and Bangalore.

As another Redditor pointed out, it could simply be a glitch to do with the skin's colour - and a few other people say they saw the skin in blue, and black, but others have said that the details of the white variant are different enough to suggest that it's a legitimate leak.

Respawn recently released an Apex Legends roadmap, which confirms that exclusive cosmetics will be rolling out in the first season with the launch of the Battle Pass next month.

Season 2, kicking off in June, will see the introduction of new Legends, with new weapons and loot following in seasons three and four. New cosmetics will be a staple of each season.
