Looks like Apex Legends will finally get some more Titanfall content in Season 9

Apex Legends has "a ton" of Titanfall content coming its way, according to a statement made by one of the game's writers in a recent panel.

During a panel at BrownGirlGamerCode, Ashley Reed (senior writer on Respawn's premier battle royale title) suggested that the EA studio has plans to "to integrate Titanfall" into the game's ninth Season, and reiterated that "Titanfall [is] very much a part of the [Apex Legends] universe". Thanks, Dexerto.

These comments were expanded upon by game director Chad Grenier, who noted that fans who have been waiting patiently to see more of the Titanfall series rear its head more directly in the game certainly have something to look forward to in the coming weeks and months.

"Next season - Season 9 - you're actually going to see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game, in one way or another," Grenier explained. "I've told some people before, if you're a Titanfall fan, hang on for Season 9 because there's gonna be some really cool stuff there."

Though no specific content has been outlined, it stands to reason that we may be seeing more weapons, characters or even Titans themselves drop into the game in the coming Seasons.

We've already seen various elements of Titanfall lore appear in the game – they're set in the same universe after all – but it seems like that connection may be made even more apparent as we soldier on into the game's second year as a live service title.

Apex Legends launched on Switch recently, but as our very own Sherif Saed said: the game coming to the hybrid/handheld system, is ambitious but you can’t see shit.
