Anthem's damage "floaties" can be customised or completely disabled

Bioware has confirmed that the game's damage "floaties" can be completely customised.

The Anthem Twitter account has confirmed that the damage numbers in the game can be customised or turned off altogether, with the opacity and size able to be "tuned to your liking."

Anthem isn't out until next year, but EA and Bioware have been dropping nuggets of information as we head closer to release.

Last week, Bioware's Casey Hudson took us through the 20 minute Anthem gameplay demo from E3, showcasing the Scars & Villainy contract with four Freelancers.

Hudson has also said that romance options might make their way into the game at some point, following confirmation that they would be absent from the game in favour of "friendships."

As well as customising "damage floaties", players will be able to customise their Javelins, as well as creating multiple Freelancers.

Anthem is set to release on February 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
