Amazon announces leaderboards, achievements via GameCircle for Kindle Fire

Amazon has announced GameCircle for Kindle Fire, which will allow developers to add leaderboards, cloud saves, and achievements to games. Players will be able to track trophies, treasures, badges, awards, and more as well as receive in-game messages earned in real-time or pause and view an achievements summary. The leaderboards will include comparison information and percentile ranking against top players or competitors, and Sync will allow players to save their game to the cloud so they can switch devices if need be. The system is currently in beta, and the firm has released a video for developers which is posted below. Thanks, GameTrailers.
