Amazing Spider-Man 2 footage shows web-swinging & combat, with insight from Beenox

Amazing Spider-Man 2 was showcased at GDC last week, and The Escapist sat down with developer Beenox to discuss the game's combat, traversal and bonus extras, among other things. There's also some preview footage showing all of it in action.

It follows the first Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer, and details on the game's new 'Hero or Menace' system.

In the clip, creative director Thomas Wilson explained why Beenox brought Kraven in as one of the game's key enemies, alongside Jamie Foxx's Electro. There's also some aims to expand the open world environment, and make it look more like the real Manhattan, with tweaked districts that feel less generic and more.

The game's coming to 3DS, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox One and Xbox 360 this Spring. Here's a batch of screens:
