Alone in the Dark: Illumination multiplayer closed beta runs through Monday

The Alone in the Dark: Illumination multiplayer closed beta starts today, and to get in on the fun, you just need to pre-order the game through Steam.

Players can choose between three characters: the Hunter, Witch or Engineer.

Once a choice is made, they can team-up with others through three levels: Mines of Lorwich: Ghost Town, Beneath the Graves: The Coffinmaker, and The Factory of Fear: Spectral Railway.

Those who pre-order the game for $29.99 will gain automatic access to the multiplayer along with the following bonus items:

  • Player Skins: Unique visual options for each of the four playable characters.
  • Weapon Skins: Distinctive weapon skins give your hunter an unmistakable look.
  • “Old One” Achievement: This exclusive achievement is available only to pre-order customers and marks you as one of the first players to enter the game.

The multiplayer closed beta runs through Monday, April 13.

Alone in the Dark: Illumination will release in "early" 2015.
