Alan Wake goes Gold

Yeah, we couldn't believe it neither, but apparently: pigs are flying, hell's frozen over and Alan Wake has gone Gold after six years in development!

Remedy's Matias Myllrinne delivered the news a while ago today via Twitter.

"Alan Wake goes gold, Champagne time at Remedy."

There's a big party going on at the developer right now, we're sure. These photos here prove it.

To celebrate the announcement, Remedy's put live a new video of the game called "Behind the Thriller", showing footage never seen below.

Stoked? Not stoked. Excited? Not even close. We're super-duper f**king pumped for this.

Alan Wake will release on May 14 in Europe, as announced this morning by Microsoft, with a US release on May 18.
