AHA and Nintendo to make announcement on May 17

vitalitysensor

It looks like Nintendo might be revealing more on its Vitality Sensor sooner than "this July", if a joint announcement with the American Heart Association on May 17 is any indication.

According to a post over on D'toid, an announcement in New York City is set to go off on Monday.

What else it could be, well, only the two firms know, we suppose.

However, it seems likely that it is indeed the Wii peripheral Iwata revealed at E3 last year.

Nintendo has also said before that a “videogame with a theme of relaxation” was in the works, and that the next Legend of Zelda game "may" make use of it.

Guess we'll find out more on Monday.
