Agony is a sexually explicit horror game full of vagina monsters and infanticide

“Easy to enter, nigh on impossible to leave.” That’s the tagline for Agony, a game where the “o” in the title is styled to look like a spiked vagina - a penis flytrap.

We’ve been to Hell in games before, but Agony’s depiction of that fiery realm is the most fucked up I’ve seen. Demons bump genitals together, monsters have heads that look like mutilated nether regions, and babies are cast from cliff sides into the mouths of waiting beasts.

Never before has a game trailer earned its age restriction this much. Be warned, it features baby murder, nudity, and really bad voice acting. Have a look:

The first-person horror game has you trekking through Hell to uncover the memories that led you to this point, all while fighting demons and manipulating them with mind-control powers.

It’s chock-full of disturbing imagery, and that’s after the game has been toned down slightly to get through the ratings process on consoles. The developer has already stated its plans to release an optional patch to remove the censorship on PC if you want the full, horrible experience.

In that post, there are gifs of things that made it into the final release and it looks messed up enough as it is, to be honest. I did cringe at “Waifu succubus is still playing with her friend”, however. It’s a bit “How do you do, fellow kids?”

On Kickstarter, the game had a goal of CA$ 66,666, and the campaign ended with CA$ 182,642 pledged.

Agony releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 29. You can add Agony to your wishlist on Steam now.
