Age of Empires: Definitive Edition reviews round-up, all the scores

After a delay to early 2018, it's finally time to see if the revival of Age of Empires is worth it.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is part remaster, part remake of the original RTS game. The game's assets have been greatly enhanced, with remastered visuals and sounds.

The Definitive Edition comes with a new zoom level, and support for modern systems and resolutions for up to 4K. The campaign also features new narration, and the game has updated multiplayer, which is one of the biggest reasons why you'd want to pick it up.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is available only through Microsoft's Store, priced 19.99/£14.99. No word yet about a Steam release, though if it does arrive it'll be months from now.

Here are the reviews so far. Scores are out of ten unless noted.
