Adidas and THQ settle miCoach suit, game on the way

Adidas's stymied miCoach tie-in is back on track thanks to the 'amicable' resolution of a suit against THQ.

Adidas's Frank Thomas told Gamesta that the as yet untitled miCoach game is back on track.

"Adidas and THQ Inc. have amicably resolved the dispute, which will allow Adidas to get the miCoach game to market without delay and without compromising any of its unique features.

"Through the settlement, each party was recognized for and compensated for their important contributions to the game.”

Sportswear and accessory manufacturer Adidas brought a $10.6 million suit against THQ after the financially troubled publisher suddenly ceased production of a game based on the miCoach range of electronic training aids.

THQ has confirmed that it is not publishing the miCoach game in the wake of the suit; we've reached out to Adidas for more information.

Little is known of miCoach, although it was once reported as a motion control title.
