"Several" remasters and re-imagined games coming from Activision this year

Activision is going all-in on reviving its classic IPs.

Activision, who's seen great success with recent revivals in the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon series, has revealed that it's working on even more remasters.

The publisher was keen to point this out in its Q4 FY2019 earnings call. Although specific franchises were not named, CFO Dennis Durkin said there are "several" remastered and re-imagined games coming in 2020.

These games will be announced closer to launch, and Durkin didn't given any hints as to what they might be.

A new Crash Bandicoot game is rumoured to be in development. Though the nature of this project is unclear, it may be the series' first original game in years featuring the character. A Tony Hawk remake is also reportedly in the works.
