Activision has paid $439 million in bonuses to Infinity Ward
As part of an ongoing trial against Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella, Activision has released a detailed breakdown of the bonuses it has paid out for Call of Duty.
Polygon reports the publisher claims to have paid a grand total of $493 million to Infinity Ward, including the $42 million paid just prior to the trial's commencement.
The largest whack is the $147.46 million paid for Modern Warfare 2; West and Zampella's dismissal is said to have resulted in their missing out on their entitled share of it. The damning details of the pair's exit from the company is at the heart of their suit.
The bonuses include those paid for Treyarch-developed games using Infinity Ward's technology and IP. The full breakdown is posted below.
