A Plague Tale: Innocence video features Sean Bean reciting William Blake's The Little Boy Lost

A Plague Tale: Innocence is out this week, and to commemorate the release, here's a video featuring Sean Bean reading poetry.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To celebrate, Asobo Studio collaborated with Sean Bean for the production of this video.

The poem he's reading is William Blake’s The Little Boy Lost, which is part of his moving compilation, Songs of Innocence.

Here's the poem so you can read along with Sean.

Father! father! where are you going?
O do not walk so fast.
Speak, father, speak to your little boy,
Or else I shall be lost.

The night was dark, no father was there;
The child was wet with dew;
The mire was deep, & the child did weep,
And away the vapour flew.

If you aren't familiar with his work, google him and give some of his poetry a read. While you are at it, have a look at some of his paintings. He was indeed a very talented man, and next to Byron one of my personal favorites.  Sorry to nerd out on you all.

In A Plague Tale you play as Amicia, who is on a journey with her sickly brother Hugo.  On your journey, you will meet up with thieves, alchemists, and more who will teach you new skills.

Lauren was given an early hands on with the game back in April, and Jeremy provided us with a review. Hit up both links and give them a read.
