Those who don't own the pass for Just Cause 3 can pick it up as a separate add-on starting August 18.

Like Sky Forge and Mech Land Assault before it, the Bavarium Sea Heist comes with new tools in which to wreak havoc. Whereas the others had drones and mechs, respectively, this time out players are handed the Loochador - a heavily armed rocket boat.

Players are tasked with infiltrating a research facility in the middle of the ocean called the Stingray. It is home to "the rarest and strongest weapon ever created by the Eden Corporation."

Along with the new means of transportation, Bavarium Sea Heist features new areas to explore, missions, a new challenge type, and the “Eden Spark” lightning gun. In order to acquire the latter, players will need to steal it off the Stingray base before you can "unleash elemental death on your enemies."

The Eden Spark can also be powered up using mods earned in the Boat Invader challenge.

Just Cause 3: Bavarium Sea Heist runs $5.99/€5.99/£4.99 separate from the expansion pass. The Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass can be purchased for $24.99/€24.99/£19.99.
