Over 40 Xbox Live apps rolling out from now until Spring, Napster & Karaoke launch today

Xbox Live is to receive 40 new dashboard apps from today until Spring 2013 across various territories. Some are region specific while others are global, including an official GameTrailers app. Check out Major Nelson's update below.

Nelson posted the full list of apps Microsoft is rolling out on his blog, and announced that some of them are available from today.

Apps launching today are ARTE (Germany, France) which is a cultural TV station with documentaries, concerts and films, video on demand service CinemaNow (Expanding to Canada), and product review and tech show CNET (United States, Canada).

There's also Karaoke (All LIVE regions, excluding Japan and United Arab Emirates) , a pay-per-time sing-a-long app with 8,000 tracks at launch, lad's mag Maxim (United States), music streaming service Napster (Germany, United Kingdom), cloud storage service SkyDrive (All LIVE regions), sports channel SPORT1 (Austria, Germany) , music video streaming service VEVO (Expanding to Spain, Italy & France) and finally freeview service Zattoo (Germany).
